For over 157 years, the Pittsford Fire Department has stood as a pillar of safety and service in Rochester, New York. What began as a handful of volunteers protecting wooden structures has grown into a modern, professional department serving a thriving community.

Our crew of 60+ firefighters and support staff operates from a state-of-the-art station at 8 Monroe Parkway, responding to calls across Pittsford and surrounding Rochester neighborhoods. We train relentlessly so that when seconds count, every decision is instinctive and every action is precise.

Beyond the sirens, we invest heavily in prevention — inspecting businesses, educating school children, and building relationships with the residents we're sworn to protect.
